Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
This site exists to do one thing: let you book a short call about a remote life-insurance sales position. The only information collected is what you hand over to make that call happen, plus the ordinary technical logs any website generates.
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to travismurphy.org (the “site”), operated by Travis Murphy in Austin, Texas. It does not cover any third-party site you reach from here — for example Instagram — each of which has its own privacy policy.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you book an intro call through the scheduling widget on this site, you provide your name, email address, the time slot you pick, your time zone, and anything you type into the notes or intake questions. That booking is handled by Cal.com, our scheduling provider, and is stored on their systems as well as delivered to Travis by email and calendar invite.
Information collected automatically
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like essentially all web hosting, it produces server and security logs that may include your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the time of your request. These logs are used to keep the site online and to defend against abuse — not to build a profile of you.
What we do not collect
This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no tracking cookies of its own. We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account details, or any other sensitive personal information through this site. Please do not send that information through the booking form.
Third parties that receive data
- Cal.com — processes and stores your booking details so the call can be scheduled. Cal.com may set its own cookies inside the scheduling widget.
- Cloudflare — hosts and delivers the site, and generates the technical logs described above.
- Google Fonts — the site loads typefaces from Google’s servers, which means your browser’s IP address is visible to Google when a page loads.
These are service providers acting on our behalf or delivering the page to you. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
How your information is used
Information you submit is used only to:
- schedule, confirm, and follow up on your intro call;
- answer your questions and discuss the licensing course, lead program, and position;
- contact you about next steps if you move forward in the hiring process;
- keep the site secure and operational.
If you would rather not hear from us again, say so on the call or reply to any message and we will stop reaching out.
How long it is kept
Booking and applicant information is kept for as long as it is relevant to the hiring conversation, and afterward only as long as needed for ordinary recordkeeping or to meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete it sooner. Cloudflare’s technical logs expire on their own retention schedule.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. Just email the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live — including under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act — you may have a formal right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your data, and to appeal if we turn a request down. We honor those requests regardless of whether a particular law applies to us.
You can also decline to provide information in the first place, though without a name and email we cannot schedule a call.
Age
The positions described here are for adults, and this site is not directed to children. Do not use the booking form if you are under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and will delete any we learn we have received.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and bookings are handled by an established scheduling provider. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we do not retain more than we need, which is the best protection there is.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new “last updated” date. Material changes will be made clear rather than buried.
